After being relatively underwhelmed with their first two leaked tracks , Arctic Monkeys have unleashed a gem, in “Reckless Serenade”. It reminds of the incredible songwriting that was all over Alex Turner’s Submarine EP earlier this year but with a bit more bite. Turner,  is the obvious star of the track, and it is  a slight reminder of the more uptempo, breezy, Monkeys tracks of the past.  The guitars are fun, and imaginative again. Another tune from the Arctic Monkeys' forthcoming album, Suck It and See , has hit the waves and it sounds pretty much amazing. There's nothing better than a peak of the upbeat indie-pop displayed in "Reckless Serenade" that got the band famous in the first place. I feel like I won't be getting this track out of my head for a while.  Suck It And See  comes out on June 7th, so make sure you cop it and jam with us.

I think calling the Arctic Monkeys' new album art for Suck It & See minimalist might be an understatement. While the album art may be sparse we can expect big riffs on the upcoming album due to production by Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age. The album will see US release via Domino on June 7th.
