After being relatively underwhelmed with their first two leaked tracks , Arctic Monkeys have unleashed a gem, in “Reckless Serenade”. It reminds of the incredible songwriting that was all over Alex Turner’s Submarine EP earlier this year but with a bit more bite. Turner, is the obvious star of the track, and it is a slight reminder of the more uptempo, breezy, Monkeys tracks of the past. The guitars are fun, and imaginative again. Please, more of this the new records. Suck It and See will soon see the light of day as June [...]

Reckless Serenade and The Hellcat Spangled Shalalala from the Arctic Monkeys new album Suck It And See.
Alex Turner : o velho cabelo voltou, mas a música continua trilhando outras estradas. Os Arctic Monkeys escolheram, para a primeira parada da ronda de divulgação do seu novo álbum Suck it and see , os palcos do programa Later with Jools Holland e apresentaram três canções desse novo trabalho. Don't sit down 'cause I've moved your chair , que já ganhou até clipe, consegue se tornar ainda melhor ao vivo, com guitarras distorcidas e uma atmosfera densa. The Hellcat Spangled Shalalala é bem diferente do indie rock tradicional dos macacos [...]

Here's a preview from the Arctic Monkey's new album Suck It And See . Digging this, Alex Turner's vocals sound great over the guitars. "Reckless Serenade." drink the kool aid:
And so continues the trepidation that awaits the first full listen to Arctic Monkeys fourth full-length album due out next month. I have already talked about 'Don't Sit Down 'Cause I've Moved Your Chair', which sadly sounds dated after more than ten or so listens, and 'Brick By Brick', the [Read more]

Another tune from the Arctic Monkeys' forthcoming album, Suck It and See , has hit the waves and it sounds pretty much amazing. There's nothing better than a peak of the upbeat indie-pop displayed in "Reckless Serenade" that got the band famous in the first place. I feel like I won't be getting this track out of my head for a while. Suck It And See comes out on June 7th, so make sure you cop it and jam with us.
As Arctic Monkeys prepare for the release of their fourth studio album, we get to wrap our ears around another nugget of Monkeyness in the form of Reckless Serenade . If the two tasters we have heard so far - the driving Brick By Brick and the rollocking Don't Sit Down Cos I Moved Your Chair - were a progression of Humbug 's desert rock, then Reckless Serenade sees them return, even in part, to the perky indie-pop of their first two albums. A new Arctic Monkey 's song " Reckless Serenade " can be streamed below. The track is set to appear on the English rock group's fourth studio album Suck It And See . That LP is set

The best of the British pop tradition is showcased on "Reckless Serenade", a little Beatles, a little Kinks, a little Northern Soul, and a little bit Weezer (OK, not so British but that guitar lead at 2:06 is totally "Pink Triangle"). "We were good as married in my mind but married in my mind's no good." All the same, "Reckless Serenade" is an ace track. Suck It and See is due 6th June. Assist to our family at SKOA on the track. Arctic Monkeys - Reckless Serenade [...]

Tweet Well this is throwing me for a loop. The first song from the Monkeys'.....wait, you can't shorten them to the Monkeys....The first song from the Arctic 's latest album "Suck It And See" was "Brick By Brick" , a shady number with a Rock Band-style guitar solo that didn't really sound like the band's previous efforts, and then we had "Don't Sit Down 'Cause I've Moved Your Chair" , a far heavier tune that, this time, had an Arctics feel [...]

O mistério escondido pela capa minimalista de Suck it and see , novo álbum do Arctic Monkeys , está sendo aos poucos desvendado. Após a liberação de Piledriver Waltz , Brick by Brick e Don't sit down 'cause I've moved your chair em versões de estúdio, e das belas canções inauguradas pela banda em um show (veja aqui ), agora é a vez de ouvirmos Reckless Serenade , mais uma canção do álbum, cortesia da gravadora dos macacos de Sheffield, a Domino Records. Reckless Serenade é um [...]

I think calling the Arctic Monkeys' new album art for Suck It & See minimalist might be an understatement. While the album art may be sparse we can expect big riffs on the upcoming album due to production by Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age. The album will see US release via Domino on June 7th.

We have introduced to you Arctic Monkeys' track Brick By Brick from their new album in a previous post. Now its about time you had a more clear vision of the new album. Don’t Sit Down ‘Cause I’ve Moved Your Chair is the first single from Suck It And See, which will be released on Domino Records on Monday 6th June 2011. Intense guitar riffs, outstanding singing performance by Alex Turner and generally a more mature sound are some of the progresses that have been made in the Sheffield band. You can catch up the limited-edition 73 vinyl version in white color that was let out on [...]

Incoming// Arctic Monkeys - Suck It And See Does this artwork warrant a post? Usually, no. But I’m in a good mood and this album might - despite all signs given so far - be quite good. Give this to MFM on a bad day however and we’d say they’re taking the piss.
