Arctic Monkeys have let loose a brand new standalone single titled "R U Mine?" with an accompanying music video, which you can watch above. Chances are, those who get to see Arctic Monkeys during their tour with The Black Keys will get to hear the live rendition of the song. The band goes on tour alongside The Black Keys starting on March 2nd.

Despite claiming they wouldn't be retreating back to the studio until 2013, earlier today Arctic Monkeys released a surprise single in the form of the grunge heavy R U Mine? Accompanied by a black and white, entirely tongue in cheek video, R U Mine? finds Turner's vocals at their finest since 20072s Favourite Worst Nightmare . With their last two records proving slightly questionable in quality, it's brilliant to hear the four piece back to their very best.

• Arctic Monkeys - R U Mine?

Suck It And See , their last album, came out less than a year ago, but the Arctic Monkeys are already cranking out new songs for no obvious reason. Their latest, posted online with no details early this morning, is a sneery, charged-up riff-monster called "R U Mine?," which already has a video. In the black-and-white clip, the former Sex Pistols guitarist and current KROQ DJ Steve Jones gives a quick intro, and then we see various Monkeys making tough-guy faces and playing air-drums while driving. Have lost count as to how many videos the ARCTIC MONKEYS have unleashed from their 011 LP, is this number five ? Update : this is a new choon. So I stop complaining and I get loving their new video for R U MINE ? , which once again their he-foxxxy-drummer has a prominent role in. Love.a.him. But if he ever does the PLAN B on me and stops consuming carbohydrates then I'll unsubscribe from this properbsession I've got.
