American Graffiti Artist Pose recently spent some time down in South Africa, as part of the City Of Gold urban art festival. Pose is one of the few graffitti artists who has successful applied his art to a wide variety of mediums, he is probably most distinguished by his progressive lettering style. As the video above shows he's just super talented at what he does.

A "Comic Book Icons" exhibition with 100 characters interpreted by 100 artists will open at FIQ - International Comic Book Festival in Belo Horizonte, Brazil ( www.fiqbh.com.br ). The piece is inspired by formations and movement found in nature. Floe, embodies the shape and movement of ice drifting on the surface of the North Atlantic. The glass structure is combined with a simple wave movement and light bringing life to the piece. As one half of the group formerly known as Hype Williams, a duo which now goes under the more self-explanatory title Dean Blunt and Inga Copeland, Dean Blunt has specialized in obtuse, abstract electronic pop, though I use the term "pop" this loosely. Whimsy, color and spatial harmony all collide in John Breed's A Rainbow of Shoes and Legs for Brueninger . The Brueninger in question is the German shoe salon the installation was intended for, and it's no wonder, for the bold simplicity of an array of multi-colored shoe clad gams lends itself well to a fashion driven environment. Among the 145 individual legs featured, there is a pale blue strappy sandal, a lime green spiked heel with ruffle embellishments and a lilac wedge. Just outside of Hamburg, Germany in an unsuspecting field exists an underground city created by German artist EVOL .  Over the course of eight work-heavy days, EVOL and his crew excavated an “X” shaped area of the soil, and proceeded to insert on all inside walls facades resembling skyscrapers.  The effects are an interesting contrast to the normal dynamic created by the interaction of man-made structures with nature and, upon exiting, an immediate remedy for the brown and gray monotony of the big city.
