San Francisco was in for quite a treat this past Thursday when Singer-songwriter and Grammy-nominated Vocalist Nadia Ali amazed her fans with a mesmerizing performance during her Queen Of Clubs Tour at the legendary Ruby Skye. Taking the stage at the peak hours of the night, Nadia and her entourage of dancers began with a massive, upbeat mash-up introduction that featured the voice-overs of several EDM culture giants that included the likes of Fedde le Grand, Avicii and Armin van Buuren. With mention as "the most talented female vocalist on the planet," Nadia Ali wasted no time to exemplify her [...]
There are two things likely to stir a conversation about Stratford-Upon-Avon, but at this time of year, you can be certain it isn’t Shakespeare. Now eleven years into their annual midland overhaul, Global Gathering returns to Long Marston Airfield July 26th and 27th to unleash another cutting edge line-up from across the dance music spectrum. With day one favoring the likes of British assets Plan B, Disclosure and Rudimental on the main stage, the additions of Ferry Corsten, Nicky Romero, Seth Troxler and James Zabiela open the floodgates to a line-up that collects mainstream favorites and underground legends alike to the unsuspecting [...]
Dance music events (although ironic) have become a premier venue for capturing and sharing moments using mobile devices. Vyclone, a tech start up that allows both artists and fans of an event to simultaneously film and share video, is emerging as a solution to uniting DJs with concert-goers through their cellular fixations. Friday, at Marquee Las Vegas, Arty became the first electronic artist to implement this technology, filming his POV while members of his crowd filmed theirs. Capturing all angles of Arty's pool party, Vyclone was the core of an event that turned social media sharing into a music [...]

UK label Anjunabeats has issued a statement regarding their assertion that Will.i.am's track "Let's Go" featuring Chris Brown sampled Arty and Mat Zo's "Rebound" collaboration without proper permission. The label issued the statement today to counter an interview Will.i.am gave to the Associated Press where he said, "You can't steal if you credited somebody. He and I communicated. ... It's not my fault he didn't tell me about the other guy. So who is to blame? I didn't know." The label didn't mention if they were in the process of seeking financial relief over the matter. Here is [...]
After remaining relatively quiet regarding Will.i.am's blatant plagiarism of Arty and Mat Zo's "Rebound," Anjunabeats has just released an official statement on the matter. While it is true that Will.i.am. credited Arty in the sleeve notes (but not Mat Zo ), Anjunabeats attests that he did not receive permission to use the track. As of writing, there has been no official paperwork filed by either party for the use of the track, further implicating Will.i.am. in this ongoing case of copyright infringement. It seems you actually can't take someone's work without [...]
Carl Louis and Martin Danielle, the longtime friends who make up the duo CLMD is bubbling just underneath the surface of dance music, and about to burst and break free. Coming from a surprisingly small dance music community in Norway, the two producers have had quite a specific experience and outlook on music that ironically translates incredibly well to what is now a huge community of dance music listeners. CLMD has gone from dreaming about DJing in their rooms to playing big rooms in Miami and debuting “The Stockholm Syndrome” on their own label, Up North this week . [...]

In an interview with Associated Press, Will.i.am speaks out about the accusations that have been thrown his way regarding the use of "Rebound" in his latest track "Let's Go," claiming "you can't steal if you credited somebody." Heavily on the defensive, Will.i.am defers blame to both his legal team and Arty himself. "What do I know, I give it to legal. I'm not an attorney, I did my piece. I gave credit to the person who did it. It's not my fault he didn't tell me about the other guy. So who's to blame? [...]

Arty has taken to Facebook to "clarify" what happened surrounding the theft of his and Mat Zo's track "Rebound" by Will.I.Am who re-named and released on his new album it as "Let Go" also featuring a verse from Chris Brown. It stills seems blatantly clear that Will.I.Am and his label took no measures in securing permission for use of the track. Candidly Arty's name appears on the credits for the release, again without any communication between Anjunabeats and himself :/ Full statement below. [...]

Arty brought the heat to Miami with his new single Together We Are , along with several photo booths spread across South Beach where people could take funny or loving pics of themselves with their friends and significant others. Below are some photo highlights, with the top one being the winner as chosen by LessThan3! They will be receiving some special Arty merch as a prize. [...]
It's been a crazy past few days in the music industry, as the pop sensation known as will.i.am has been accused for stealing samples from the likes of Arty, Mat Zo, Sandro Silva, and Quintino. The ongoing story seems to have come to a close earlier this morning. Speculation about illegal samples being used in will.i.am's music first arose the other day when he uploaded the VEVO video for his single 'Let's Go' featuring Chris Brown. Shortly after, Arty took a listen to the track and distinctively heard his original collabo track with Mat Zo mixed up in it. [...]
Well if there was any doubt, after he repeatedly punched his then-girlfriend Rihanna in the face, repetitively against a car window, leaving her beautiful face looking like a Walking Dead cast member. If there was any doubt, after he childishly took off his shirt upon losing his temper after a Good Morning America interview and then proceeded to toss a chair into a mirror before storming out of the building. If there was any doubt, when he parked his car in a parking spot clearly labeled “Frank Ocean” and then after [...]

Will.I.Steal is at it again along with bumbling partner in crime and all-around douchebag Chris Brown with the release of "Let's Go" online yesterday. The original beat is actually from storming producers Arty and Mat Zo and their track "Rebound" - compare the two below. It seems neither knew of the deal with Matt eventually deleting his Twitter account in protest post some serious words with his fans and Arty left to figure out what's going on through his own social networks. [...]
Let's Go , a single from will.i.am's forthcoming studio album #willpower , has garnered negative reactions from the the dance music community after being revealed earlier today. Featuring the vocals of Chris Brown , the track samples Arty and Mat Zo's Rebound , released back in 2011 on Anjunabeats . Whether due to poor production or the uncredited sampling, Let's Go hasn't been received well, with an 85% disapproval vote on YouTube . Take a listen for yourself as we've included both tracks [...]
Will.i.am's fourth studio album, #willpower , indicates strong electro-pop influences with lead singles including the Sebastian Ingrosso and Steve Angello produced "This Is Love" and the Basto written "Scream & Shout." Other than these collaborators, Will.I.Am had no other EDM producers come to his aid - at least to their knowledge. Today, Will's VEVO uploaded the fifth track from the album, "Let's Go" alongside Chris Brown, and the preview has the dance music community up in arms. "Let's Go" appears to be a blatant ripoff of Arty and Mat Zo 's Anjunabeats release, "Rebound," and not just a [...]

One of the biggest EDM tunes ever gets the remix treatments from Arty with his "Rock-N-Rolla" sound! Arty delivers another Rock-N-Rolla mix this time with "Rock Your Body Rock" from Ferry Corsten , after his extremely big remix for "Punk", which was featured in the Beatport Trance chart for 1 year straight! For "Rock Your Body Rock" he returns to the typical Rock-N-Rolla sound. Rolling beats, massive basslines and an ultimate build up! Arty shows he can still make trance festival bangers when called upon, and Ferry continues to show why he is always considered near [...]
