Y'all, Azealia Banks is really mad – she hasn't even released a full-length record and she's already started beefs with everyone from Angel Haze to the Stone Roses (!) – and she's letting some of her anger out on "YUNG RAPUNXEL," the Lil Internet -produced new single that might or might not wind up on her long-awaited record Broke With Expensive Taste . It's a great song - sometimes Azealia's chilly, ambivalent rhymes recall M.I.A. on older tracks like "XR2," but [...]
Azealia Banks drops new single with pretty damn cool artwork. I'm a fan of the mouth eyeballs on Azealia Banks cover art for her new single, "Yung Rapunxel". The song itself is good...I...

So you might have heard that Azealia Banks has gotten into even more Twitter beefs over the past week or so following apparent run-ins with the Stones Roses and Rita Ora. But to keep up with those feuds and her many others, it would basically take an entire site dedicated to just that. Thus, we're focusing on her pretty wild new single, "Yung Rapunxel", which features a boisterous Lil Internet production. Banks mostly raps at a lower, almost inaudible tone, except when she goes absolutely nuts on the hook. Listen below.

Azealia Banks shows her love for The Strokes ' 2001 debut Is This It with a lush cover of "Barely Legal". Premiering a few days ago on New Zealand radio station George FM , the cover features production from Lindbergh Palace, who replaces the traditional guitars and drums with pulsating basslines and spacey synthesizers. Banks' vocals are the clear highlight though, with the Harlem rapper charismatically testing her talents with Julian Casablancas' lyrics. Stream the cover below.

It feels like forever since we heard some music from Azealia Banks that was removed from all the usual bullsh*t she surrounds herself with. I'm talking about Internet beef, of course, which she has cooked up with everyone from Perez Hilton to Baauer to Angel Haze . But on "Barely Legal", she's just letting her music be heard by way of an actually pretty solid cover of the Strokes' track of the same name. I mean, just think about it: What if she just closed down her Twitter, released breezy jams like this, and let [...]
The Azealia Banks cover machine is at it again , taking on the Strokes' "Barely Legal." This time though, there doesn't appear to be any animosity between her and the original artist, and she's singing instead of her usual mode of rapping. If you told us yesterday that Banks would sound good singing a Strokes song, we might not have believed you, but it is in fact today and three plays in, we'd have to recommend this one. Cast away your doubts and listen below. In other [...]

Welp, here we are, a mere few hours removed from Azealia Banks' response to Angel Haze's diss from yesterday, and Haze has ALREADY replied. It arrives as an unmastered track, "Shut the Fuck Up", featuring some angry-as-hell vocals over 2pac's "Ambitionz Az a Ridah". She apparently recorded it on her computer using Garageband, because she feels that Banks doesn't deserve the time it takes to master a track. Ha, fair enough. In case you haven't heard them yet: Angel Haze disses Azealia Banks with [...]
The ridiculous new beef between Azealia Banks and Angel Haze seems far from over –– Azealia has formally responded to Haze's diss with a (relatively diss-less) track of her own, "NO PROBLEMS." Keep it classy, y'all. If we're playing Devil's Advocate––and, of course we are––I say point goes to Machinedrum , who produced the killer beats on "NO PROBLEMS." It's pretty crazy how quickly the beef between Angel Haze and Azealia Banks has escalated but hey, things are different in the digital age. No longer do you have to wait for a radio station to play a track or press something to wax. All you need is a microphone, a beat, and an Internet connection and BOOM! shots fired. I know plenty of people are all, "Lulz, this beef is lame!" and "Who cares?!", but hey, it's nothing if not entertaining. That became evident when Haze dropped " On the Edge " yesterday [...]

Una nuova traccia di Azealia Banks appare su internet. "BBD", prodotta da Apple Juice Kid , è in streaming su soundcloud: TRACK STREAM: Azealia Banks - BBD pubblicato su Indie For BUNNIES

Azealia Banks' '2122 was almost undoubtedly one of the best singles released last year, wetting the appetite for her upcoming debut album Broke With Expensive Taste . Her new single, 'BBD', is down and dirty and features guest producers produced by Apple Juice Kid and Sup Doodle, adding a bass-heavy, bottom-ended drive to the tune. As usual Banks is on brilliant, potty-mouthed form - a good sign for an album that has been postponed so many times we've all lost count. Here's hoping.
In case you missed it, Azealia Banks and Angel Haze got into it on Twitter today about some bullshit related to how Haze took one of Banks' tweets the wrong way. And after their heated exchanged it seemed like everything was over. Until now. Yes, it's only been a few hours but Haze is absolutely goin' on Banks throughout "On the Edge". She also claims that the messages in the above artwork are from a text conversation they had some months ago. Good lord.

A. Banks is back with another new track that will be featured one of her upcoming three albums that she is rumored to be releasing. "BBD" is a shout to Bell Biv Devoe and Azealia brings her usual fast-paced lyrics to a dope club beat. When she does it right, AB puts out some fire. AZEALIA BANKS - BBD
Not two days into 2013 and Azealia Banks is starting the year off right with a new jam called "BBD," produced by Apple Juice Kid and Sup Doodle , that effortlessly amalgamates hip-hop and dance trends (a little trap-y, a little rave-y, Azealia said on twitter; not to mention the song's title appears to reference Bell Biv Devoe ) with her own already-classic rapid-fire, sassy wordplay. As per usual she makes it all sound easy: "I'm just really out here livin'," she sounds like she's shrugging, ultra-laconic and ultra-cool. Let's hope 20132s [...]

![MeLo-X – ‘Inside The Mind Of MeLo 3′ [Mixtape]](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/4677202_lg.jpg)
After only hearing about this project for the first time last week, we can exactly say it was highly anticipated. But after hearing the first leak and the beginning tracks of Inside The Mind Of MeLo 3 , we are happy that it has popped up on our radar. The tape serves as a way for the Brooklyn artist to put together some rather abstract pieces. Such as the opener "Every Single Night", which is a fun, bouncing track that features the vocal samples of Fiona Apple. You can also expect samples and features from the likes [...]
Azealia Banks has once again teamed up with director Rankin —the two previously worked together on the video for " Liquorice "—delivering a rousing visualization of the Harlem beauty's track "Van Vogue", which was included on Banks' 1991 EP . The video focuses on Banks herself, quickly cutting between various shots of Young Rapunzel and her various outfits and styles. If anything, the video sure as hell shows off Banks' involvement in the fashion industry. Nicola Formichetti has definitely made a muse out of her. Watch the replay above. In other Azealia [...]
Azealia Banks may have just dropped a collection of nineteen high-octane jams , but she's already back at posting random tracks on SoundCloud. "Succubi," produced by the always-great araabMUZIK , is apparently aimed at Harlem rap vet Jim Jones , whom Azealia hilariously refers to as a "hymen" at one point. You can read all about their ridiculous spat over at MTV , or you can just listen to the song below: Read more [...]
