mp3: The Coasters - Bad Blood It might not be the Monster Mash, but a song with a title like Bad Blood is perfect for your Halloween party playlist. This Leiber/Stoller creation was released as a b-side in 1961. The lyrics follow a similar vein to The Coasters first big hit from 1957, Young Blood. The main difference being, at some point in the intervening years, the protagonist's perspective has changed considerably. So it goes.

After a way-too-long hiatus, Spank Rock is back with new album news (via Pitchfork ). He will release the new album Everything Is Boring and Everyone Is A Fucking Liar on September 27th on his own Bad Blood Records. The album features production work from Pharell Williams, Boys Noize , XXXchange and N.A.S.A. Not content with releasing three full-lengths, one 12" and ten 7" singles since the Fresh and Onlys formed in 2008, he's found time to release three records under his own name in the same period.
