They made the record, now it's time to sell! Band of Horses showed up last night on Letterman to perform "Laredo". Of note: Tyler Ramsey's finger pickin' electric guitar work, Ben Bridwell's determined delivery, and Bill Reynolds' get-up. Looks like Bill could have walked out of the Ed Sullivan Theater and straight onto the set of Boogie Knights . Slick, man! Share:
Enjoy last night's exquisite performance of 'Laredo' in the feature below. MP3: Band Of Horses - The Great Salt Lake
Band of Horses brought Infinite Arms standout track "Laredo" to Letterman last night. The album is generally pretty chill and subdued but I thought this was a good, energetic performance here. Band Of Horses stopped by Letterman last night to play "Laredo", a song off of their latest album Infinite Arms . Seems that many people are experiencing mixed feelings about this song and the rest of the record. Either way, I enjoyed the performance: Bookmark on Delicious Digg this post Recomend on Facebook share via [...]

There are two highly anticipated albums out Tuesday by LCD Soundsystem and the Black Keys . James Murphy is supposedly calling it quits for LCD after the release and subsequent tour for This Is Happening . The Black Keys album, Brothers , has been hyped to death but it sounds great. Also, Band of Horses puts out its first album in more than two years, Infinite Arms . And Club 8 releases The People's Record . [...]

I can't reiterate this enough, but fans of this series are DIEHARDS! My wife consumed the three books in the span of three weeks. It was nauseating. I had to purchase an audio book for her because she had a work trip so that she could complete the trilogy. Look for " Eclipse " to be released June 30th. The soundtrack looks as though they had somebody from P4K compile the list and it goes a little something like this: Eclipse Tracklist: 1. Metric – “Eclipse (All Yours)” 2. Muse [...]

Exactly two weeks remain before Band of Horses latest LP, Infinite Arms , releases and I cannot wait. The group have done a wonderful job sharing material from their upcoming record and even doing an impromptu vinyl UStream of the entire album (it sounds fantastic). Thanks to Evan from One Thirty BPM for turning me on to this video showing behind-the-scenes footage from the making of Infinite Arms . It's really neat to see how frontman Ben Bridwell has gone from creating the albums in a solo mindset to (now) embracing [...]

I am stoked that it's May Day. This means a bunch of different things to me. It's my birthday month, but way more importantly than that, is the amount of great albums coming out in one day this month. Flying Louts, Broken Social Scene, Minus The Bear, The New Pornographers , and our indie taste of the day Band of Horses with their album " Infinte Arms" . Even Herbie Hanckock has an album coming out. My milk carton overflow-eth! Band of Horses have relocated to Bridwell's native South Carolina, [...]
