The past couple of years have seen solo releases from both Tyler Ramsey and Ryan Monore of  Band Of Horses , but on September 18th the Charleston, SC-based band will get back to business as usual with the release of their Glyn Johns-produced, fourth studio album -  Mirage Rock . Band of Horses officially announced their fourth album, Mirage Rock , due out September 18th. The album was recorded at Sunset Sound in Los Angeles and produced by Glyn Johns, who was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this year in for his work with such artists as The Beatles, Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, The Who, and many more. Band of Horses have announced their new album to follow up 2010's Infinite Arms . The album is called Mirage Rock and is set for release on September the 17th (UK) and 18th via Columbia Records. Not only do we have a date but we have our first taste of what's to come from the album in the shape of a track called "Knock Knock". The visuals are just straight nature footage, but it's nice to hear the album opener for the upcoming Band Of Horses release Mirage Rock . The album is due out on September 18th and they're currently hitting the road with My Morning Jacket. Hopefully an MP3 will surface of "Knock Knock" so I can listen to it more. You can also stream  the track over here if the hippy video crap bothers you.

Band of Horses took time to play an acoustic version of a new track for MTV Brazil, while visiting South America. The song, Everything , will be on their new album that is due out sometime later this year. Watch the performance below.
