It has been announced that The Barclaycard Mercury Prize ‘2012 Albums of the Year ’ shortlist will be revealed at 5.30pm on Wednesday 12th September 2012. Barclaycard Wireless Festival have announced that Deadmau5 will headline the festival on Friday 6 July and will be joined by Maverick Sabre, Knife Party, Feed Me and Ms Dynamite. For those who aren't fully familiar with the prize it was introduced in 1992 as an effort by the industry to expose and applaud the credible, experimental and independent albums released each year.
