photo by Hillary Harris Bat For Lashes have released a second track "Marilyn" from her forthcoming album The Haunted Man , due out October 23 on Capitol. The dreamy song, with a chorus highlighted by Natasha Kahn's piercing voice, is of course about the one and only Marilyn you might expect an up and coming indie-pop singer to reference, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I've been to a lot of residency Mondays at Spaceland over the years, and tonight's lineup, front to back, rivals any I've seen. Residents Local Natives could probably pack the place themselves, but they have two other great SoCal bands on board — the Henry Clay People and Aushua . Not to mention: Fun. , who are not to be missed.
