Bat For Lashes - A Wall

In director Noel Paul 's third video for Bat For Lashes ' The Haunted Man , Natasha Khan dons a blonde wig and spends New Year's with a drugged-out guy in an extravagant fur coat (who may or may not be her titular Haunted Man). Whatever the video's intended meaning, it's another beautifully shot, choreographed and edited video from what's becoming a very fruitful series of collaborations between Noel and Natasha.

In the sweeping, visually striking video for Bat For Lashes' new single " All Your Gold ," we see Natasha Khan twitchily dancing her way across a beach. It's done in glowing black-and-white, and Khan pretty much owns the camera the entire time. This is one of those cases where nothing much happens in the video, but it transfixes anyway. Somewhat lost in the excitement of Bat for Lashes excellent new single, "Laura" is the gorgeous video, which like Alma Harel's clip for Sigur Rós earlier this year, presents it's leitmotif with the help of interpretative dance. Natasha Khan begins the video in a dressing room, singing directly into a camera, which then follows her as she dances alone in an a empty, beautifully-lit theater.
