Garage rocker Mark Sultan (aka BBQ of King Khan & BBQ) has not one, but two new records out on one of our favorite labels, In The Red Records . Titled "Whatever I Want" and "Whenever I Want", the two LPs include 26 new tracks and were recorded by Sultan in Montreal, and feature guest spots from Dan from The Gories, Jared & Cole from the Black Lips, Erin from the Spits, Choyce from Red Mass, and more. Due to some of Cleveland's finest weather (sarcasm) there was, in fact, no BBQ. Some of the city's finest bands were in attendance though. Philly F/M Festival wraps up another year with a BBQ at The Ukie Club in NoLibs today. The BBQ is an all-day event that will have live music from over 15 local bands, vendors, food, drinks and games. The lineup features some promising up-and-coming acts such as Reading Rainbow , Good Old War , and Nicos Gun as well as other touring favorites like The Head and The Heart and Thao with the Get Down Stay Down. As previously mentioned, this past weekend The Vinyl District got a chance to get down and dirty in Nashville, Tennessee for The Music City Festival & BBQ Championship . The festival was nothing but non-stop classic rock, BBQ, and beer brought about by some of Tennessee's best musicians, vendors, and partygoers.
