Beach House has found themselves near the top of nearly every "best of" list for this past year with their hit album Bloom . With that work now in the rear view mirror looking back on 2012, they released a homemade video for a tune appropriately titled "New Year". The video was shot at the same location where they recently filmed a short film entitled "Forever Still". The video for "New Year" is a collection of clips looking back on the time they group spent in Texas. Check it out.
When Beach House decided to release a video for Bloom standout “New Year”, they concluded the best way to visualize this reminiscent tune, was to show some of their favorite memories in recording one of the finest records of 2012. We head down to Sonic Ranch Studios in Tornillo, Texas where we get a peek at some of the more intimate moments from the group. We particularly like the opening cat brawl.
