Following up on 2012’s self-titled EP, Portland’s Pure Bathing Culture will releasing their debut full-length Moon Tides this Summer. First single “Pendulum” is a warm and reminiscing slice of seaside indie-pop that will be best enjoyed at the brisk of morning. Sarah Versprille’s ethereal vocals give us hope among all of the despair.

Beach House has found themselves near the top of nearly every "best of" list for this past year with their hit album Bloom . With that work now in the rear view mirror looking back on 2012, they released a homemade video for a tune appropriately titled "New Year". The video was shot at the same location where they recently filmed a short film entitled "Forever Still". The video for "New Year" is a collection of clips looking back on the time they group spent in Texas. Check it out.

Gems Void Moon Beach House took comfort in the warming glow of Peaking Lights’ weird vibes, while thay channeled the ghosts of Fleetwood Mac and promised they would never fight the darkness again. This blend of styles and sounds is infectious. I think this is my new favorite band (besides Teen Mom ).
