There was already people in line, I was around the 20th person. Last year I was one of five people who got there at around that time. Following "Myth," Beach House has just released its second single from the forthcoming album Bloom . This is a strong single, and sounds like a bit of a progression for Beach House. It's a sleepy track with delicate keyboards, distant drums, and an ethereal vibe. Victoria LeGrand sounds especially carefree here, and with summer around the corner, this track arrives at the perfect time. / via /
Back in early March we posted the first single from Beach House's upcoming second album Myth . Well now they've just released the second, Lazuli , and it's rather brilliant too. Echoey soundscapes underpin a menacing, reverb-drenched vocal. The band recently hinted that Bloom will be darker than its predecessor Teen Dream explaining that its themes are "death and loss of innocence" . Can't wait. Lazuli will be released on Record Store Day (April 21) with the B-side, non-album track Equal Mind .

Since it's release, Teen Dreams has become a staple to any indie listener's album diet. Two years since it's release, the songs still feel refreshing and powerful, but another release would certainly be welcome. Beach House's new track Myths picks up where they left off in a sonically familiar territory but the mood of the lyrics is excitingly different. Beach House's new LP "Bloom" will be out on May 15th via Sub Pop. @postedbyestaban belchere
There's a new Beach House song... which means its safe to say the internet just exploded. "Myth" is the first single from their new album Bloom, to be released later this summer. The percussion feels colder, and the synths are slightly less cloudy than most of Teen Dream, but in general, "Myth" isn't too much of a departure. If the rest of Bloom sounds this good though, no one will be complaining.
The amazing French duo Air are back to serenade us with beautiful low-tempo beats that will take you on a journey. Seapony is the three piece collective from Seattle whose Dream-Pop sound borrows a page from the Beach House , Vivian Girls & Beach Fossils files, who all provide Sunny Summery Beach music. Never thought the word Beach would be used so much in one sentence but there single "Dreaming" is a fun tune that should definitely make a few playlists these coming warm months.
