Beach House may have released one of the best albums of the year with their third endeavor. Although officially not out for a few more weeks, we couldn't wait to get our hands on Teen Dream . They have a few dates near the end of January in the U.S. and then will tour for a few months overseas. After seeing Grizzly Bear perform a nearly perfect set earlier this Summer at The Parish, we can barely hold back our excitement as we get a few more opportunities to catch the foursome this year! Last week we shared the news that the Pixies' plans to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their epic album Doolittle with some European tour dates. This week in Pixies-related news comes word the band's bass player, Kim Deal, has announced plans to hit the road with her other band - The Breeders - this August. The band has lined up a 16 date run that includes a two-night stand at NYC's Bowery Ballroom on August 18 and 19, with Whispertown 2000 and New Times Viking splitting opening duties. [...]
