We missed out on reviewing Beach House's new album, Bloom , so here's our take: it's fucking great, just like everything else this duo churns out. Yes, it has similar melodies, sounds, etc... compared to their previous efforts, but so what? These two know exactly what they're doing and they know how to expand on it without getting too left-field. Proof of this is heard in single " Lazuli ", which just received the video treatment. What can I say about Beach House that hasn't been said already? Their video for Lazuli , taken from the excellent Bloom , has just been released - and it is (of course) - just like the song itself - beautiful (and a bit weird too). What a busy few weeks it's been for Beach House , firstly we saw the, perform on Letterman late last week and last nigh they were back in the UK performing on Later... with Jools Holland . They performed "Myth" once again and the results can be seen up at the top and look out for some more performances appearing online over the weekend when the Friday show has been broadcast. Beach House 's new album Bloom is out now.
Another episode of Jools Holland where he puts every other music-based television show to shame. This week it's Beach House 's turn to show the world of shitty music how it's done, with a fantastic and rousing performance of "Myth" , the lead single from their current album-of-the-year-contender "Bloom" .
