Coldplay paid tribute to Adam "MCA" Yauch of the Beastie Boys at the Hollywood Bowl last Friday night. Yauch passed away on Friday. If you missed Sunny Bak's exhibit of Beastie Boys photos at Rush Arts Gallery a few weeks ago, you have another chance to see the photos at the Ivy Brown Gallery in New York. Bak and designer Cey Adams have teamed up for a new exhibit titled "Solid Gold Hits," featuring Bak's photos and Adams' Beastie Boys design work. Major Lazer , aka DJs Diplo and Switch, has just released a remix of “Don’t Play No Game That I Can’t Win,” a track from Beastie Boys ’ latest album Hot Sauce Committee Part Two . The dub cut features Santigold, a regular collaborator for both members of the dancehall-electro-reggae fusion project.
