Just yesterday comedian and co-creator of the "Chappelle Show" Neal Brennan paid tribute to the passing of MCA by sharing an unreleased Beastie Boys musical performance of "The New Style" for the aborted 3rd season of the show in late fall 2004. It was on a boat in East River, NYC. I love the fact that you can tell Dave Chappelle is genuinely having an awesome time. ( via )

Chappelle's Show co-creator Neal Brennan recently uploaded an unreleased Beastie Boys performance of "The New Style". Beastie Boys filmed this performance for the cancelled third season of "Chappelle's Show" in late fall 2004. "The New Style" is definitely one of the most memorable and sampled Beastie Boys records that I can remember. It's been sampled by The Pharcyde to J Dilla to Outkast just to name a few. Rest In Peace to Adam "MCA" Yauch.
