Encabezando la lista tenemos a Jack White, Beck, Bon Iver, Beirut, Zola Jesus, pasando por The Roots, Explosions In [...]

The annual Sasquatch festival, definitely a festival that I need to attend in the very near future, announced a killer line up for this year's installment. Recently solo Jack White, along with Beck and Bon Iver, will be headlining the George, WA based three-day event. Also leading the way are Pretty Lights, Tenacious D, The Shins, Girl Talk, St. Vincent, Feist, and Silversun Pickups. But that's not all who you'll get to see at the Gorge Ampitheatre this year. Also performing this year are Metric, Mogwai, Explosions In The Sky, The Head [...]

There's plenty of reasons why Feist's latest album Metals was TWJ's No. 2 album of 2011, and No. 3 on my 2011 songs list. "The Bad In Each Other" opens Metals with a bang, and it instantly became my favorite song on the record. The drums, the horns, the clatter of it all - and [...]

If Feist ever made an a capella album it could probably stand on its own. And the way I look at it any extra production is just frosting on the cake or THC in the butter. So you can imagine my excitement over Beck throwing some funked up beats on top of Feist’s single “ How Come You Never Go There .” Enjoi / Gung Hy Fat Choy. Gonna have to drop a lunar new year buck on this to get a hard mp3. Or you know you can always go on the fuck SOPA offensive with this [...]

Escucha el remix para “How come you never go there” a continuación. How Come You Never Go There (Beck Remix) by Feist

Ahora Beck hizo un remix de lo último de Feist , How Come You Never Go There .

How Come You Never Go There (Beck Remix) by Feist Beck doin things. My favorite Scientologist went to work on "How Come You Never Go There" off lady Feist's 2011 album, Metals . The two have teamed up in the past for a Beck's Record Club recording of a Skip Spence cover and I just realized the Record Club site is no more, real life devastating circumstances. Anyways, the Feist original "How Come You Never Go There" was nice and clean but Beck really remixed it into something else [...]
'Tis the season for collaborations and remixes, and Feist is not a stranger in this realm. Back in November, the Canadian singer-songwriter raised a few eyebrows with her plans to release a split 7” with metal outfit Mastadon . Recently, however, Fiest collaborated with Beck to release a remix of “How Come You Never Go There,” a cut from her latest Metals LP. Listen to Beck’s version of “How Come You Never Go There” below. Beck puts his touch on the Feist song, “How Come You Never Go There.” Through some cool sampling and some new drum patterns Beck pulls out a really cool remix. Chopped and shipped for your pleasure…
Hace algunos años Feist y Beck trabajaron juntos en en el Record Club de Oar , primer disco solista de Skip Spence , donde ella cantó el tema “Weighted Down (The Prison Song)” . Ahora Beck se encarga de remixear “How Come You Never Go There” primer sencillo de su más reciente material Metals .

How Come You Never Go There”. Beck impregnó el tema de loops y le puso su toque a la canción de la chica canadiense y el resultado, lo podemos ver aquí: How Come You Never Go There (Beck Remix) by Feist

Feist & Beck dance. Feist - "How Come You Never Go There (Beck Remix)" -mp3
"How Come You Never Go There," a highlight from Feist's excellent, new Metals album, has been stripped, chopped and remixed by alternative rock vet Beck . It's all skittering drums and ominously pitch-shifted horns, giving the Starbucks staple a thrilling edge. There are a lot of things to like about Beck's take on the song, but perhaps the best part is that Feist can pull this off, comfortable in the chaos of sped-up-slowed-down horns and intricate build-up-break-down drum patterns. It's a good look for you, Leslie. [...]
