Best Coast returned to the late night circuit last night with a visit to The Late Show with David Letterman and whilst there they performed the title-track from their sophomore studio album, The Only Place . While their album is still marinating on our playlist the performance sounded pretty fresh given that the album hasn't knocked me for six personally. THE ONLY PLACE I wannabe right now is in bed watching the BEST COAST performing on the David Letterman show. Sounding stirred hot and that she-singer looking rather fine, if you're into shes that is.

Last night, Best Coast , who are just pretty much everywhere lately, appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman with "Each and Every Day," which, by my count, is the 80th single from Crazy For You . Beast Coast "Each and Every Day" live on Letterman last night. At first I thought her voice seemed tired, but she really saved it at the end. Solid performance.

Best Coast brought a crazed rendition of "Each and Every Day" to Letterman last night, instead of the usual "Boyfriend" or "When I'm With You." Though a personal fave off of Crazy For You , the live version sounded a bit out of breath and all over the place -- was it nerve, Bethany? Or maybe that's what happens when you can't hide behind reverb and harmonies. On a side note, why is David Letterman so cute?? Him talking about kitties gets me every time. [...]

Last night, before the Best Coast aired on Letterman, NPR hosted a live broadcast of a Best Coast/Wavves show at the 9:30 Club in DC. But this actually happened after her NYC performance at The David Letterman show, in real time. Wrap your head around the space-time continuum, and you'll gather that it was quite a day for Bethany Cosentino and her SoCal band.
