Joy Revision Lip Curl This four piece out of Sheffield released its debut self-titled EP on August 7 through their Bandcamp after initially posting some of their demos back in April. It's an overwhelmingly fun and youthful lo-fi experience laden with surf jangle overtones, distorted vocals, twangy guitar, and groovy bass riffs. So Many Wizards has always offered a sound that has been difficult to pin down in terms of genre, and even after expanding his project to a three-piece band including Erik Felix and Warren Woodward, Nima Kazerouni's playful yet untamed melodies have only been able to fall under the "bedroom pop" umbrella. However, this is certainly one of So Many Wizard's strengths — falsetto vocals joyously run rampant in unconventional song structures.
