Having recently teamed up with her own father for a special Record Store Day release, Best Coast 's Bethany has now collaborated with another member of the Cosentino household by covering Roy Orbison with help from her cat. Cosentino shared a lo-fi cover of Orbison's classic track 'Crying' earlier today, which you can stream below. Her cat Snacks' only actual contribution comes right at the end, but we're sure he was a great source of inspiration throughout. Stream below:

Boas notícias vindas da Califórnia: o  Best Coast lançará um EP ainda neste ano. O anúncio foi feito pela vocalista Bethany Cosentino, que gravou um vídeo para dar a notícia aos fãs. Ela e o guitarrista Bobb Bruno começarão os trabalhos no próximo dia 11. Segundo Cosentino, a dupla está bastante animada com a gravação e ela tem composto muito em seu quarto. A vocalista não deu uma data para o lançamento do EP, mas disse que ele sairá em breve. Vamos aguardar!

Last week, Best Coast' s Bethany Cosentino could be found collaborating with Iggy Pop on an original song for True Blood. She found another unlikely bedfellow in Portland last night, joining Kendrick Lamar to sing back up on his song "No Make-Up (Her Vice)" off of last year's Section.80 . It was the first time Lamar had ever performed the song live,  and Cosentino held her own up there with an exuberant rapper. Check out the replay below.

Apparently, Iggy Pop loves Sookie Stackhouse - wtf and who knew? The most recent episode of HBO's soapy southern vampire mystery "True Blood" is entitled "Let's Boot and Rally," named for a song that Iggy Pop himself created specifically for the show. After enlisting the help of Best Coast's Bethany Cosentino, the result is a pretty cool collaboration that manages to capture the same sort of naughty, southern gothic vibe of the show.
