I love a really solid pop song and this guy, "Come Night" by Sibille Attar , is about as sugary as they come - of course it's Swedish, produced by one of the dudes in Peter, Bjorn and John , no less. (via Pitchfork )

After demonstrating his creativity with reworks while working closely with Chromeo on their remix EP, Mayer Hawthorne once again channels those skills to create a nice little remix of Peter Bjorn and John 's "Dig A Little Deeper" off of the Swedes' most recent album, Gimme Some . Peter Bjorn and John lifted "Second Chance" from Gimme Some for their performance on Jimmy Kimmel's show last night. This is the kind of sparse, danceable track that has endeared the trio to audiences worldwide, and it's hard not to get wrapped up in the groove as it's delivered with aplomb here. Peter Bjorn and John have morphed into a tight and together live band over the years, allowing their knack for writing incredibly catchy songs to shine through. There's even a clap-along with the audience here that gets the usually stoic Kimmel audience going.

We've recently collectively been re-exposed to Otis Redding's classic "Try A Little Tenderness" thanks to Jay-Z and Kanye's sampling on "Otis," which is maybe why Swedes Peter Bjorn and John have decided to cover the song on the latest episode of AV Undercover .
