The remix is being offered up for free so I recommend you cop that shit immediately. I'm still enjoying their Romance Bloody Romance album and this mix is a great addition. Here's something to listen to while you're packing for Coachella: a brand new DFA1979 remix from UK talent, Stopmakingme . This gorgeously understated take on "Black History Month" builds like a scratch you can't itch until a righteously rad baseline drops. It sounds like Stopmakingme tore a page out of Tiga's book to help him create this minimal masterpiece. Hopefully it was made recently because it'd be a crime if it wasn't included on the DFA remix comp.
Is anyone as excited as us about the return of Melanie Fiona. This is the first single off of her sophomore album. It's a love ballad in a music era that loathes ballads, commercially speaking.
