We saw all the big-name arrivals across the pond at the BRIT Awards, but now for the actual hardware! Last year Adele and Ed Sheeran cleaned up , and this year it was another male-female duo dominating, with Emeli Sande and Ben Howard both winning two awards. "This is a dream, really," Sande said when accepting her Album of the Year prize. Otherwise, the Brits renewed their undying love for Lana Del Rey by giving her another trophy this year. Adele and Coldplay also [...]

I didn't watch this year's Grammys . Instead I caught a blow by blow account on Twitter, which is just like being there. Yes, millions gathered to essentially Mystery Science Theater the shit out of the Grammys. Some of it was even funny. Steven Hyden of Grantland got this gem of a jab in: "Did you know they set jazz musicians on fire to keep Katy Perry's hands warm backstage?" What was even funnier (meaning sadder) was the number of people who still buy into the concept of the Grammys. They sent out heartfelt congrats to Mumford & Sons [...]

Alright guys, this is it. With only a few days to go, it's time to forecast the biggest Gramophone of them all. Who will take the coveted Album of the Year crown at this year's Grammys ? Last year, the category pitted a few pop queens against each other ( Adele , Rihanna and Lady Gaga ), but quite shockingly, it's an all-male affair this year. That's right, no Taylor Swift , no RiRi again (not so surprising this time [...]
Oh, it's that Grammys Record of the Year award, the one that always causes people to say, "Wait, didn't somebody just win the Song of the Year Award?"
