But as a result of this mini (probably already squashed) beef, today's Rock it Out! Blog focuses on other notable beefs in the history of rock 'n' roll. Are you on the side of Axl or Slash? Did you root either for Blur or Oasis? Let us know in the comment section. Also on today's episode, Sami recaps [...]

Award season inches closer and closer and while we mostly focus on ceremonies like the Grammys, the Oscars also get our attention by way of the Best Original Song category. Were any of our favorite bands worthy of a nomination this year? That's what we want to know from you on today's Rock it Out! Blog. Leave a comment [...]

Experiencing an Election Day hangover like I am? Then The Black Keys' new video for "Sister" should provide a nice jolt. The (presumably) fan-created video is how Noisey describes these visuals which depict a group of rebellious young women's trip to the laundromat. Watch it below. "Sister" is off last year's El Camino , which you can buy here .

The Blue Walrus likens The Family Rain to an English Black Keys, which I don't disagree with, but if those guys had ever heard of the band Spoon, I think they would agree that the likeness is much more profound. Hailing from across the pond, The Family Rain consists of three brothers, Will, Ollie, & Time Walters, making badass rock music that is almost a mixture of Muse playing Black Keys tracks. The video below certainly makes it look as though this trio of brothers party, ride bikes and raise hell in a green BMW... sounds fun to me. [...]

Off the soundtrack of his newest project The Man with the Iron Fists here is RZA's newest track and video featuring The Black Keys. "The Baddest Man Alive" can be heard on the big screen November 2nd when the Quentin Tarantino flick will be hitting theatres. Powered by Wavo .

Some bands' tunes translate well when performed acoustically, and then there's Guns N' Roses. This past weekend, Axl Rose and his merry band of musical miscreants performed at Neil Young's Bridge School Benefit Concert and their acoustic showing was, well, less than stellar . So, on today's Rock it Out! Blog, Sami wants to know what bands and artists you wouldn't want to hear in an acoustic setting. Also, Sami recaps the latest news including the hilarious video from The Black Keys and the RZA , an upcoming concert film from Metallica , and where [...]

When I posted The Black Keys & RZA’s The Baddest Man Alive a couple of weeks ago, I had hoped that RZA would make a music video if not just to build hype for his upcoming film The Man with the Iron Fists . Well the day has come and RZA has in fact made a music video for the soundtrack’s single The Baddest Man Alive that both promotes the film as well as being a pretty kick ass music video. Directed by Chris Marrs [...]
In an appropriately bad-ass display of the visual arts, The Black Keys & RZA release visuals for their recent collabo "Baddest Man Alive". As all oughta know, this track lives on the greatest soundtrack of the last decade, for The Man With The Iron Fists - which you can stream in full here .
This track can be found on the soon to be released (October 23rd) soundtrack to 'The Man With The Iron Fists.'
The Black Keys & RZA "The Baddest Man Alive" A music video featuring The Black Keys and RZA fighting over a fortune cookie isn't exactly what I was expecting to see this morning, and yet, I'm weirdly not surprised either. The fish slapping, arm and shirt ripping video for "The Baddest Man Alive" is directed by Chris Marrs Piliero and is off the soundtrack to the upcoming movie The Man With The Iron Fists . [...]
