Vandals on Friday night set fire to the locally famous TacoZone taco truck stationed on Alvarado a couple blocks north of Sunset. The setback knocked the popular dispensers of late-night munchies out of business briefly, but they have rebounded with a repaired truck. A benefit show to help offset the costs of those repairs has been arranged for Friday at Spaceland, featuring the Mae Shi , Kenan Bell , Robert Francis and, the organizer vows, "special guests." Last week, BRMC announced on their website that they were going to release their fifth studio album free of any record company and that it was going to be released on their own label "Abstract Dragon." The album is only available via digital download. The real surprise is that the record is entirely instrumental. This took a lot of time to get used to this new sound.
