Despite later going on to become cheesemaster extraordinaire, DJ Seduction's first outing on vinyl was a quality bleepfest for C.T. Records in 1991 . Taking it's lead from LFO , the track combines a slightly altered version of the Warp classic's lead line with swirly synth pads, rave stabs, vocal snippets and a simple but effective break. Classic stuff. DJ Seduction - Bleep Bleep Mash Mash Thanks to Blog To The Old Skool for the audio.

Once again we dive into the back catalogue of the mighty Warp . Today we take a look at the label's 3rd release, a three track 12 of bleepy techno goodness from Sweet Exorcist . The project was a collaboration between Cabaret Voltaire's Richard H Kirk and Richard Barrett and together they created a small but perfectly formed handful of releases, the first of which was "Testone" , originally released in 1990. There's a double CD retrospective of Sweet Exorcist material set for released on [...]
Michael Winslow is probably best known as the guy who makes funny noises in the Police Academy movies (winner of more Oscars than any other franchise in history), but I prefer to remember him as the "I've lost the bleeps, I lost the sweeps, and I lost the creeps" dude from Spaceballs. However you remember [...]

Today Rustie put out his highly anticipated Ultra Thizz EP via Warp Records. "Ultra Thizz" and "Dreamzz" set the tone for his forthcoming Glass Swords LP, which is slated to drop this Fall. Order the limited edition, etched 123 from Bleep or download it digitally from a number of sources . I'm pretty sure one of these are going to be on my "Best of 20113 list... I have loved Bleep Labs stuff for awhile now. The Original Thingamagoop was an amazingly fun toy. Very expressive and always fun to play with. Now Dr Bleep has teamed up with NEon Indian to make... Music,Media,NYC Events, Gear, Gadgets and other Randomness from Brooklyn

Threnody has been producing music around 140bpm since the early 2000s. Always on the dark edges of dubstep, breakbeat, jungle & electronica his music is characterised by deep atmospheres & soundscapes, warped bass & intricate drumwork. Having grown up playing instruments and making guitar led music on 4-tracks his sound is melodic, orchestral, glitchy & organic. Music with a solid rhythmic core to pack a punch at raves but with melodic content to transport the sounds into the front room & headphones. So far Threnody has had a series of releases on leftfield dubstep & electronica [...]

Bibio recently released his sun-chiming EP, K Is For Kelson , on Warp records . The lsd-grooving 4 track record leaks with summer-esque tones and textures that run around perfectly for this time of year. 'Like A Sundial' droops in and out of an orderly flowing, guitar rifting mind-mush of sound, that really stretches out to be a true sun-gazer. 'Don't Summarize My Summer Eyes' may possibly work up to be my favorite track of the summer thus far. Streamingly great in every which way, it transports the mind to a gorgeous mantra-sounding [...]

It's K**O (Plat Du Jour) who introduced me to Nehuen sending me some of his beats. I immediatly feel the materials of this Barcelona based producer that sounds like a mixture of grime, uk funky, tropical and 8bit influences. He recently had a release on Shockout (Tigerbeat6 sublabel) and one of his track " Between Love And Hate " ( Iberian Records ) will appear on the second volume of " Adventures In Dubstep & Beyond" released by Ministry [...]

With the Numbers crew just back from their month long tour of the US taking clubs like Low End Theory and TURRBOTAX® by storm you would think they would be having a rest on the EP front. Not so for the Glasgow juggernaut with the release of a new Redinho EP hot on the heels of the Deadboy release that's about to drop. Tile track "Edge Off", a surprising monster of a funk electro boogie track makes big start to the EP. We then get into more familiar [...]

Lone (Matt Cutler) will be playing the Bleep stage at this year's Bloc Festival , featuring great acts like Aphex Twin, Four Tet, LFO and more. Here's an exclusive mix that Cutler created:

Mark Archer and Chris Peat became rave legends in the early 902s as Altern 8 but before donning the masks and boiler suits, they worked together as Nexus 21 . Their first work appeared on "The Rhythm of Life" album on Blue Chip before signing to Network (who would also later release Altern 82s material) and releasing the "Progressive Logic EP" in 1990. Lead track "Self Hypnosis (Mr Whippy remix)" was a brilliantly bleepy slice of house and showcased the duo as a talent to watch. It's [...]
