You can now stream the brand new Bloc Party record, Four , in it’s entirety below. While many fans have been anticipating this for a while, including myself, i’m not sure if i’m loving the results. Bloc Party return to San Francisco on Sunday's schedule with new ammunition in hand, a forthcoming release aptly titled Four.

Jeremiah Garcia During a Q&A session at Wednesday night’s Bloc Party show in LA, KCRW’s Jason Bentley commented on the heavy instrumentation on the band’s new material and asked if they had entered their “metal phase.” Lead singer Kele Okereke answered by saying that it’s the band’s heaviest record to date, but that it’s also their most tender and heartfelt. Both sides of the album were clearly on display during KCRW’s private show at the Village Studios, as the band performed 10 new tracks from their forthcoming album Four , due out later this month. Bloc Party are currently in the midst of a North American tour in support of their forthcoming album, ' FOUR '. Among the strops on the tour will be a sold-out performance at Terminal 5 in New York City. Bloc Party's slower songs still hit me the right way. It seems like every album they produce they include at least three songs that I enjoy. Check out 'Four' below, which is off their upcoming album. It's the song that I will repeat way too many times on this album.

Bloc Party are back with their second listen from their upcoming album Four. We already got to hear 'Octopus' and now we get to hear new track 'Day Four' which brings to mind the bands earlier days. The song deserves your time while listening and it is one of those songs that you will reach for the repeat button, as it builds with each listen. The new album Four will be released on August 21st via Frenchkiss Records .

Earlier in the month we gave you the come back track from indie-disco kings pins Bloc Party, and now we have another new one for you. 'Day Four' is the second single to be taken from the soon-to-be-released Four , their first album since 20082s Intimacy . It's a far more thoughtful, melancholic effort than Octopus was, drifting into the 'So Here We Are' territory of yester year, except tinged with more sunlight than they previously dabbled in. It's very pretty. Listen below.
