DIY Radio: Into The Blogosphere (16th January 2012) by Diy on Mixcloud — This week's Into the Blogosphere was completely spoilt for choice. Several hundred tracks appeared in our inboxes and on the web over the past two weeks; it was just my job to pick each individual 'real gem' out of the fountain of fool's gold. Not only were we given astounding returning efforts from Grimes and Frankie Rise , La Sera and [...]

Well hello again, blogosphere. Together In Digital Dreams is slowly revamping it's image in the world of sharing. Stick with me while the site goes under some changes. This music blog is dedicated to spreading the cheer of hardcore, punk and emo music. Please check back every now and again for updates on local shows within the Philadelphia area as well as news on your favorite, or soon-to-be favorite, bands. Thanks!
Last night (and mid-afternoon, today), I was aired live to the nation , playing a selection of songs, all dug up within the past two weeks, for that is the concept behind my show on DIY Radio. In what might be the last flurried collection of tracks before ' Into the Blogosphere ' begins to compile its best of the year, we've gone and picked the strongest selection possible, ignoring all Lana Del Ray remixes and exposing you to some brilliant new music. The freshest of our picks comes from Manchester's [...]

But thanks to the feedreader i got another collection of stuff i think is interesting. And just like the previous post, you could have found this already on the net, this is just a bunch of stuff i digg... Peace and have fun, and ofcourse
DIY Radio: Into The Blogosphere (7th November 2011) by Diy on Mixcloud This is the part where Music Fan's Mic scampers off into the frightening depths of (very) amateur radio every two weeks, producing a show made entirely of brand sparkling new songs. All in the name of DIY Radio . We've a suitably spooky feel to this week's 'Into the Blogosphere', what with many artists cannily releasing Halloween-related tracks in the past two weeks. [...]
DIY Radio: Into The Blogosphere (24th October 2011 ) If you're one of this blog's regular readers, you may have noticed a slight settling down in the number of podcasts I've been producing. What was once a weekly present has now become somewhat rarer. That's mainly down to various other commitments, namely a big juicy radio show, spanning two hours. I've decided to integrate all of the songs I'd usually slot into an eight-track podcast into this more lengthy 120 minute offering - 'Into the Blogosphere' for DIY Radio . —- So with that out [...]
Hi there people, sorry i didn't post anything for more then a month now. The thing is i became a dad, and the little one is born to early and so she is still in the hospital. It's a beautiful day in the blogosphere for Dallas artists. Fist of all, Pitchfork is tossing out "Best New Music" like parade candy, and North Texas natives are scooping it up. It see... Two important things happened in music this month. First, tracks that people have been speculating would become the festival hits of the summer did (Save the World), others didn't, and still yet some managed to come out of left field (Party Rock). Second, Moombahton gained some notoriety in the popular music hivemind, with plenty of poorly written magazine articles and blog posts titled "WTF IS MOOMBAHTON" proclaiming Dave Nada the father of a new genre, explaining little more than moombahton = Moombah slowed to 108. Here's my take on moombahton. I think it's fun, and a great summer [...]

Iron & Wine and The Head & The Heart hit up the Madison in Covington Saturday night, check out this preview from @terriblesounds.... You may have first his voice on a burned mix CD someone gave you in mid-2002; his hushed voice whispering the lyrics to "Such Great Heights." But Sam Beam of the indie-folk outfit Iron and Wine has been cranking out records for the better part of a decade. What's left to say about the group that hasn't already been said in the blogosphere? Iron and [...]

The blogosphere has been waiting for new Washed Out material for a while now. Since exploding onto the scene last year, we have been eagerly awaiting his debut record with Sub Pop. The album, Within and Withou t, is now set to be July 12th, and today, we have our first taste of it. "Eyes Be Closed", the album's opener, showcases the more crisp vocals of Ernest Greene. As the vocals are more audible, the music is still as dreamy and chill as ever.

Outstanding Track of the Month: Deadmau5 - HR 8938 Cephei Deadmau5 released a track, named after the north star, a few weeks ago on his Soundcloud channel. It rose in listens extremely quickly, and Mau5trap released it on Beatport shortly after where it quickly hit #1 on the overall Beatport Chart. It's one of my favourite tracks from Joel in the last while, and is my favourite style of his - melodic, rolling, downtempo. Deadmau5 - HR 8938 Cephei by fuckmylife [...]

Oh my, this column has been out of the running for quite some time. The reason is simple, life took over a bit, and this column does take a bit of time. But hey, it's back again, so hopefully per week this column will be covering six songs again. Songs that are not likely to feature in the Singles Column that is so expertly done by a variety of writers here on this site. Mostly it is a bit more electronic, disco, house type stuff with some remixes thrown in as well. However, since we're already two months [...]

Another great month for music has just passed, and so here I am doing a roundup again. The outstanding track of the month for me is Torro Torro's remix of Riviera's 40 Thieves, releasing in the next few days. There were great tracks from just about every genre, but sparser sounding house is represented most in this list, like the Adele remix, or Treasure Fingers' take on Senor Stereo's track. There is also some unstoppably funky stuff, like the MSTRKRFT remix of DFA's Sexy Results, the new Breakbot release off Let the Children Techno, and the Armand Van Helden remix [...]
