Every wondered what Phoenix's recent single 'Entertainment' would sound like remoulded by a Solange collaborator and the original line-up of the Sugababes? Of course you have! Well, wonder no more as here it is! Dev Hynes (aka Blood Orange) has recruited Mutya Keisha Siobhan for this classy, soulful reworking of the Parisian quartet's original, turning it into a slow, echoey slow jam. In other words, he's bossed it. Again. Phoenix release their new album, Bankrupt! , on 22 nd April in the UK on Atlantic / Glassnote.

Solange Knowles has just released the rather wonderful True EP in collaboration with Dev Hynes and so celebrate she's given us another taste of what appears on it. Blood Orange has been working on some new stuff with other artists like Sky Ferreira, Solange Knowles, Charlie XCX and fashion label Kenzo.

Sky Ferreira gives us her official clip for the electro-pop hit "Everything is Embarrassing." Not much going on here just an up close and personal visual of the songstress herself. If pouty faces and vouge like poses are your thing then this visual is surely for you. EP is available now. Directed by Grant Singer

The younger, edgier Knowles sister, Solange , has a new single out today which was co-written and produced by the chameleonic Dev Hynes (aka Test Icicles, Lightspeed Champion and most recently Blood Orange ). There are touches of Hynes' funky, 802s inspired Blood Orange project all over the production here, whilst the fun video (directed by Melina Matsoukas) documents Solange and her friends enjoying themselves with some extremely sharply dressed locals on a trip to Cape Town. It sounds/looks like Solange 's musical career is about to finally set off with her new Losing You . She teamed up with Dev Hynes (Blood Orange) for both writing- and production-purposes, and the result is eh, a flawless but interesting pop song.  Directed by Melina Matsoukas , out on 12" next month (and digitally today) via Terrible Records.

Sky Ferreira dropped a beautiful black and white video for "Everything Is Embarassing". Throughout the video, Ferreira is singing in several locations such as a rooftop, park, etc. Her new EP Ghost is out October 16th through Capitol Records. Watch below.

Kindness performed at Field Day in London yesterday and brought out Dev Hynes to assist him with the track "Doigsong" off his debut album World, You Need A Change Of Mind . Gotta love when two of your favorite artists link up. Not the best track off the Kindness record, but still exciting to see these two together. Maybe we'll get a Blood Orange remix of one of Adam Bainbridge's tracks.

One of our favorite up and coming artists is New York's Blood Orange . Currently having just completed a tour opening for Florence+The Machine, he found some time to shoot this new short film. This music video, with the same director ( Abteen Bagheri ) as A$AP Rocky's "Peso", made its debut last week. This is still a very underrated artist who will most likely gain more and more attention soon, and rightfully soul.

Abteen Bagheri ’s dark, gripping video for Blood Orange 's "I'm Sorry We Lied" follows lead singer / biker Dev Hynes on a particularly ill-fated date. Filmed in a visually striking, non-linear style, it's a fascinating promo that ends in particularly gruesome fashion.

This is a terrific video for the track "I'm Sorry We Lied" by Blood Orange, which is one of the catchier tracks from the project's debut album, Costal Grooves . The song itself is nice, with post-punk drums staying throughout the entire song, giving it a very distinct pulse. The surf guitar phrases are pretty dramatic, too. Though the vocals and guitar are mostly sparse, but are welcome additions when they join the mix. Poor Dev Hynes (aka in his current moniker of choice, Blood Orange ). He can never seem to catch a break when it comes to relationships.
