It wasn't long ago that Dream Koala released an awesome remix of Saint Michel's "Katherine" . He's been busy since then. He has performed with Bondax and fellow young artist  xxyyxx and he's even remixed Swim Deep's "Honey", which was premiered on Pigeons and Planes . Awesome. Last month the 18 year-old Parisian dropped his debut EP  Blur  on Highlife Recordings. Now, he's given us the chance to stream the entire project. The five-track EP sounds like a dream (no pun intended). They're ambient, airy and free. And, they're damn good tracks. You'll want to hear this.

Tonight Blur played "Caramel" live for the first time ever since it was released back in 1999 on their album 13 . It was debuted live during their BBC Radio 6 Maida Vale Session tonight and you can head over here to enjoy it. With a live streaming Twitter premier this past Monday, Blur unveiled two newly recorded songs, which will be featured on a limited 73 single due out in August. Both tracks are available now on iTunes . The songs are set to promote the band's appearance at the closing ceremony for the Olympic games on August 12. Prior to that Blur will embark on a low-key UK tour to warm up for the grandiosity of an Olympic themed-event. Yesterday evening Blur premiered two brand new tracks live via Twitter . They actually performed live from a rooftop on London, albeit a rather rainy rooftop , and streamed the entire thing online. The result is two brand new tracks "Under the Westway" and "The Puritan" and luckily for us Blur uploaded some lyrics videos immediately after the stream and they can be enjoyed right here. To call "Under the Westway," Beatles-esque, is really a lazy way to describe the first of two new tracks release by Blur to coincide with their concert during the 2012 Olympic Games in London. Sure, with its straightforward melody, gradual build, light harmonies and orchestration, restrained in tone, but not in scope, it shares many of the hallmarks of a classic Lennon/Mc Cartney composition from Sgt. Blur have been busy preparing some performances leading up their Brits appearance later this week. Now, It's Always Better On The Outside have stumbled across a live recording of Damon Albarn and Graham Coxon performing the new song at London's Shepherd's Bush Empire titled, "Under The West Way". The song was performed during a benefit concert for War Child at which numerous other artists performed. More on that later, for now enjoy some brand new Blur below.

I used to walk or cycle, depending on the day or the weather or my mood, under the Westway everyday on my way to and from work when I lived in West London. So if you're unfamiliar with London and you're wondering what the Westway is, it's a 2.5-mile (4.0 km) long elevated dual carriageway section of the A40 route in west London running from Paddington to North Kensington.
