During the official Olympics closing ceremony last night, a brass band played Blur's song "Parklife." But the band themselves held their own sort of closing ceremony nearby at London's Hyde Park, playing what may or may not be their last-ever show and topping a very British bill that also featured New Order, the Specials, and Bombay Bicycle Club. Tonight Blur played "Caramel" live for the first time ever since it was released back in 1999 on their album 13 . It was debuted live during their BBC Radio 6 Maida Vale Session tonight and you can head over here to enjoy it. Blur wrote two new songs specifically for London's 2012 Olympic Games Closing Ceremony Celebration Party, and here is the standout 'Under The Westway'. After debuting their two new songs , "Under the Westway" and "The Puritan," earlier this week on a London rooftop, Blur is giving fans even more. Parece que volvemos a hablar de Blur. Hace menos de una semana os presentamos las dos nuevas canciones de Blur "Under the Westway" y "The Puritan" , era la materialización del retorno del icónico grupo, de descubrir como seran las canciones expresamente escritas para la actuación de los británicos en Hyde Park, para la ceremonia de clausura de estos Juegos Olímpicos de Londres. Una de estas canciones, "Under the Westway" ya cuenta con un vídeo, que os dejo a continuación.

Todavía tenemos reciente la presentación que Blur hizo de dos de sus nuevos temas, "Under The Westway" y "The Puritan". With a live streaming Twitter premier this past Monday, Blur unveiled two newly recorded songs, which will be featured on a limited 73 single due out in August. Both tracks are available now on iTunes . The songs are set to promote the band's appearance at the closing ceremony for the Olympic games on August 12. Prior to that Blur will embark on a low-key UK tour to warm up for the grandiosity of an Olympic themed-event.
