Albarn and company released their first single in seven years to show their solidarity with independent record stores all across the globe. At the Deerhunter/Spoon show on Sunday I finally picked up Deerhunter's Cryptograms on vinyl. In addition to it being a great album on its own, it comes packaged with the Fluorescent Grey EP as well. Her til aften blev dokumentarfilmen om Blur, "No Distance Left To Run", vist i de tre danske CinemaxX biografer og Frekvens kan anbefale den varmt til alle Blur fans. I morgen kører den en sidste gang i København, Odense og Århus, det er klokken 18.30 og der skulle være ledige billetter alle steder. Hvis det ikke kan lade sig gøre, kommer den på DVD til februar, men man bør bestemt unde sig selv, at se den på store lærred.

Musik-Dokfilme sind das neue Schwarz. Als nächste sind Blur an der Reihe. Der Film soll, so die Ankündigung, die Geschichte von Blur rekapitulieren. Aufgenommen wurde er während der Reunion-Tour im Sommer dieses Jahres. "No Distance Left to Run" kommt in England am 19. Januar in die Kinos. While we have to admit we're a bit bummed that the Blur reunion doesn't appear to be yielding a new record or any visits to North America, we're glad to have at least a bit of good news.
