After striking hope into the hearts of millions around the globe this summer, Blur has yet again called it quits.  Or have they?  No one really knows for sure. What we do know is that they are gearing up to release a career defining documentary in January called, 'No Distance Left To Run'.  On another note, Damon Albarn is working on the newest Gorillaz album which boasts appearances from Snoop, Lou Reed, and Mos Def to name a few. If the Blur vs. Oasis war were ongoing and measured in stature, I dare say, Damon Albarn would have cleaned the Gallagher brothers' collective clocks by now. Of course, both Noel and Liam would dismiss Albarn's post-Blur accomplishments with some sort of drunken slur implying that Albarn's a fey lightweight. New Order is one of my favorite bands of all time. Well, slight caveat: New Order between the years 1981 and 1989. Anything post-1989 seemed to circle the drain pretty fast. It wasn't all bad, though. There are a few post- Technique songs I don't find abhorrent, and I genuinely enjoyed the first Electronic album, but, my God, Waiting for the Sirens Call was a disaster, wasn't it?
