Fast approaching is Bobby Womack 's full-length comeback, The Bravest Man in the Universe . To keep the release on our radar, Womack unveils his highly anticipated collaboration with indie songstress, Lana Del Rey . The song is soulful and jazzy, intertwining two contrasting voices seamlessly with the help of majestic piano work. The Bravest Man in the Universe is due out June 11 via XL Recordings.

The release of Bobby Womack 's The Bravest Man in the Universe is fast approaching, so XL Recordings is back at it to release some new material. We have already heard the riveting " Please Forgive My Heart ", but here is a funk version to spice things up. While the track isn't quite as funky as I was hoping, it does shed some new light on the piece. The Bravest Man in the Universe is due out June 12 via XL Recordings.

After doing some work with Gorillaz , Womack moved into the studio to create more modern sounding music with that signature voice of his. With co-producers  Damon Albarn  and Richard Russel behind him, Womack rides the synth-driven sounds with his rough voice like a pro. • Bobby Womack - Please Forgive My Heart

Soul singer Bobby Womack has announced a brand new studio album, his first in twelve years, titled The Bravest Man in the Universe , a 12 track effort that was produced by none other than Damon Albarn . The album also marks Womack's first time since 1994's Resurrection releasing an album of original material, and below you can stream the second track from the album "Please Forgive My Heart." As well, after the jump, you can take a look at the album's tracklisting.

Eager to hear the Gorillaz forthcoming album ' Plastic Beach '? Well here's your chance. The new album is currently being streamed in its entirety online at NPR . The album, which features Mos Def and Bobby Womack , is due out March 9 via Virgin .
