Kanye West, Foo Fighters, Bon Iver, Adele, and Skrillex were among the early winners at the non-television portion of the 2012 Grammy Awards. Nominated for a total of seven Grammys, Kanye picked up Best Rap Album for My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy , topping Lil Wayne, Lupe Fiasco, Nicki Minaj, and even himself (and Jay-Z) .
