In no world should a remix of a Bon Iver track work, especially a Dubstep version, but Jack Deezl has somehow managed to pull it off. It starts off a bit sketchy, but as the track progresses, his confident production skills start to shine through, and we're left with something pretty good. You'll might listen to it and think, "that's horrible man", but we bet you'll play it again. Were we right?

Bon Iver may have expanded the geographical range of his music beyond his reclusive cabin in Wisconsin, but the atmosphere remains wintry to the core. On Bon Iver's Bon Iver , the project opens the floodgates and welcomes in a sea of new instrumentation. Everything from clarinet to string arrangements are laced into these songs to widen the spectrum of sounds that were once so sparse four years ago on For Emma, Forever Ago . But just because we've got a ton of new sounds doesn't mean they've been arranged or mixed all that well. Bon Iver 's new, doubly self-titled and highly-anticipated album came out today, but thanks to the magic of the internet (way to go, iTunes leak) we've already got fully-formed opinions. Music is all about personal opinion and reaction, and we each have our own perspective on every little song that passes our ears, but this album seemed special and noteworthy and warranted a group discussion of sorts. Right before I got Bon Iver's second full length LP, Bon Iver , I heard it commented that the lyrics were unintelligible and  "postmodern." It was established that this meant that they made little sense, even when you looked them up online.
