Good music keeps oozing from the pores of the Hip-Hop Heavyweights over at Rhymesayers Entertainment . Aesop Rock just released another stellar album last month; Brother Ali is releasing his new album in September, and now it has been announced that P.O.S. will release his fourth studio album -  We Don't Even Live Here - on October 23rd. A nice surprise in the inbox today from  Astronauts, etc. , the solo project of Berkeley student Anthony Ferraro.  Ferraro turned to electronic music when arthritis prevented him from pursuing a career in classical piano; the result is the Supermelodic Pulp  EP (slated for release on Sept. 8th).  Each song will feature a sci-fi music video for each of its five tracks, with a loose narrative tying them together.  Take a listen, here's "Mystery Colors".  For fans of The xx, Bon Iver, Beach House. Next week, Bon Iver will be the focus of the next installment iTunes' Live Session series, with the seven-track EP being released on June 19th. The live EP will comprise of live recordings from last summer of several tracks from the band's highly-praised sophomore LP , along with their cover of Björk's "Who Is It," which you can watch above. The EP is now available to pre-order at iTunes .

One of last year's great unheralded treasures was Rock Creek Park , a gorgeously lush mostly-instrumental rap album from the Washington, D.C. rapper/producer Oddisee. Oddisee's latest project also makes great use of the man's gifts for melody and arrangement. It's Odd Renditions , a new EP of remixes and reworkings. Two weekends ago, Bon Iver paid a visit to New Orleans to perform at New Orleans Jazz Fest, and today the festival organizers let loose a couple of high quality videos of Vernon and co. performing "Michicant" and "Towers."
