Don't you want to make it count, though? Sometimes a festival isn't for everyone. Maybe you're not into mud. There's a chance that agoraphobia of yours might act up at The Gorge. Who [...]

Bonnaroo reveals 2013 schedule, conflicts galore

Bonnaroo reveals 2013 schedule, conflicts galore The downside to having one of the year's best lineups ? There's inevitably going to be quite a few nasty conflicts. Such is the case for Bonnaroo , which today revealed the schedule for this year's festival. Thursday, the festival's first day, is traditionally the least active, primarily serving as a showcase for up and coming acts. However, there are a number of overlapping sets, specifically Alt-J and Killer Mike, Japandroids and Father John Misty, Purity Ring and Django Django, and Haim and Ariel Pink. Friday's when it gets really hard: Local [...]

Kelly, Wu-Tang Clan, Animal Collective, Empire of the Sun, Billy *Fucking* Idol, "Weird Al" Yankovic, Pretty Lights, a Rock 'N' Soul Super Jam featuring Jim James and John Oates, Boys Noize, and a few others. Bob Saget is going to be at Bonnaroo

Bob Saget is going to be at Bonnaroo Bonnaroo really didn't need to add anyone else, but they did anyway. Because when you have the chance to book Bob Saget, you just don't pass up that chance. Yes, Uncle Danny will be heading to The Farm this June as part of the festival's comedy lineup. At this point, further additions are really  unnecessary, though may we suggest  Jesse and the Rippers ?

Watch D’Angelo & Questlove’s Bonnaroo Superjam

Watch D’Angelo & Questlove’s Bonnaroo Superjam Bonnaroo' s Superjam has always delivered once-in-a-lifetime performances featuring mind-blowing collaborations, but last year's version proved especially historic. Bonnaroo’s 2013 Lineup: One Day Later

Bonnaroo’s 2013 Lineup: One Day Later Yesterday, as my KPM proficiency was put to the test transcribing the Bonnaroo Lineup Announcement Megathon , this dawned on me: booking Bonnaroo must be a lot more difficult than booking Coachella. Just think about it: Coachella takes places over in April, and though its expansion to two weekends has undoubtedly made booking headliners and foreigners more difficult, the festival faces no competition. Fact is, there are no major music festivals that take place the same two weekends as Coachella. However, during the same weekend of Bonnaroo 2013, festivals such as Isle of [...]
