This year marks the 10th anniversary of the MidPoint Music Festival here in Cincinnati, and as we noted on Twitter this morning, the initial artist lineup for this years festivities will be announced today. In the meantime, here is a very quick mix I did incorporating a little of the Foals' "Spanish Sahara" with Frank Ocean's "Swim Good". I really like both songs and just wanted to see if I could do it. Looking around on some forums I happen to stumble on Laidback Luke's mix from last Saturday from his Super You& Me radio show in France and saw a tracklisting that showed "Chubby Fingers - Phat Mad Skillz" . The bar, located on Main Street in the old space occupied by Coopers already has as good of a beer selection (mostly local) in town. And now, thanks to MidPoint booker extraordinaire Dan McCabe, is starting to book some great live music as well. It kicks into high gear this weekend, with three nights of excellent local music.
