In the current era of music in western civilization, promotion and momentum has retired from its usual location of print media and radio, opting instead for a completely digital method. This method has been used by artists which include, but are certainly not limited to The Vaccines , Arctic Monkeys , Alabama Shakes , Lana Del Rey , and Tyler the Creator , all successfully making their mark on the indiesphere by means of the internet without the release of a label-backed debut album. In some cases, this method has turned out to [...]
To tell every one the honest truth I had been putting off listening to the new album by Sleigh Bells . This is because of my fear that I wouldn't like the new album upon the first listen. With already getting a taste of the first 3 singles off of the record before listening to the entirety of the album I had mixed reviews. Upon first listen I forgot why I was scared to listen and wondered why I was so scared? Although, I recommend proceeding with caution and if at first you do not like the new album [...]

The noise-pop duo are currently across the pond with Charli XCX , but they'll soon return to North America for a ton of dates in the weeks leading up to their shows with the Red Hot Chili Peppers . Tweet Listen to the new Sleigh Bells album "Reign Of Terror" below. Sleigh Bells will release the follow-up to their citicially-acclaimed debut album "Treats" next week, and for a week until that happens you can stream the entire thing over at the New York Times' website. The album, which leaked yesterday, is out on February 21st via Mom + Pop , [...]
Sleigh Bells exploded onto the scene in 2010 , and in a typically bold move, have wasted no time in following up their first album with the announcement of their second. On February 21st, the hyped Brooklyn Duo will unleash Reign of Terror, and in doing so will release one of the most no-nonsense follow-ups in recent history of much-anticipated albums. Take a look at the build up of the sophomore efforts of the likes of Fleet Foxes, Vampire Weekend and Bon Iver. They were long winded and steeped in uncertainty at times. But [...]
Tweet I found the process of compiling the end of year album lists a few weeks back torturous. It shouldn't have been, there's been some great music in the last 12 months but nothing as exhilarating and left field as Sleigh Bells . They topped everyone's lists back in 2010 (well, just behind Arcade Fire) but can they replicate that success in 2012? New album Reign Of Terror looms large on the horizon. Will it blow us all away? Comeback [...]
They've taken their sweet time to return to pummel the tranquil waters of ear canals worldwide, have Alexis Krauss and Derek E. Miller... And while our sweet teeth may have ached for something/ anything to follow up the sensationally reckless Treats , Brooklynites Sleigh Bells , famed for their "scrappy and very catchy electropop" ( his words ; not ours) look set to induce corporeal damage of all varieties all over again when sophomore LP Reign of Terror drops next month. That'll cover the ears and the grey matter between, while legs, lungs, and other internal organs get [...]

Género: Noise Pop, Lo-Fi, Dance-Pop, Indie Pop. [...]
Sleigh Bell's debut album was touch-and-go for me, with the badass "Infinity Guitars" and simply annoying "Treats." This latest drop qualifies as another dip in the already suspiciously limited quality of their musical innovation. Here the explosive guitar sample is at sonic ends with her soft almost dreamy vocals. I dunno...
Sleigh Bells have just dropped a new song from their brand new record, Reign of Terror over at Zane Lowe’s show. “Born To Lose” is as loud as every song that the band has released on Treats, yet there is a sense of giving more attention to the melodies here, and making everything seem a bit more in control. I personally enjoy this very much. Born To Lose by Sleigh Bells
"Born to Lose" is the first single from Brooklyn-based duo Sleigh Bells ' upcoming sophomore album, Reign of Terror . Picking up right where Treats left off, guitarist/composer Derek Miller seems to be extracting further from his hardcore punk roots as the song seems to indicate heavier things to come. Stream the new track below and pick up the album in February.

Sleigh Bells: “Comeback Kid”
As you might have heard, Sleigh Bells are back. Same powerful decibel level, same crunchy guitar riffs, and same noise pop sensibility fueled by Alexis Krauss' able-bodied croon and Derek E. Miller's shredding and production. The pair were all the rage in 2010, and their new album Reign of Terror is set to be released [...]
