The third track from Random Access Memories has been leaked. Recorded live during a private listening party, ”Giorgio by Moroder,” features an opening voice-over from Giorgio Moroder before dropping into a signature Daft Punk synth. While the source remains anonymous, there is also no doubt this is authentic. The opening narration uses direct quotes mentioned in track by track reviews from credible sources that have already reviewed the album. This recording may be subpar quality, but still offers an exciting unveiling of what many reviewers are identifying as one of album's strongest productions. [...]

Earlier today the New York Post reported that Pharrell had allegedly made statements regarding Daft Punk's future touring plans.  According to Page Six, the "Get Lucky" collaborator made mention of hitting the road with Daft Punk "next year."  These statements, however, were quickly refuted by Daft Punk's team in an official statement to Huffington Post citing that "no tour is planned." Chicago City attorneys are taking an unprecedented step against a music venue this morning, bringing forth a hearing that could immediately close the iconic Congress Theater. The city is seeking an immediate injunction against Congress owner Erineo “Eddie” Carranza for failing to correct a dizzying list of 26 violations that have left the venue "dangerous and hazardous" for patrons, according to the city's Buildings, Fire and Health departments. Dick Clark Productions, the entertainment production company behind the American Music Awards, Academy of Country Music Awards, and Golden Globes, is officially jumping on the EDM bandwagon. Since acquired last year by investment firm Guggenheim partners, DCP has seen its televised awards ceremonies hit record ratings. The production company is now looking to capitalize on the booming DJ/producer-led genre and keep the streak going. Less than 24 hours before the gates to the 15th annual Ultra Music Festival are set to open, one of the stages has collapsed. There are reports that it also may have been one of the jumbotrons. The collapse occurred right before 8 p.m. this evening and Miami Fire Rescue crews were on the scene. According to the New York Times Media Decoder, SFX Entertainment has just purchased Beatport for "a little more than 50m."  The move is just another step in CEO Robert Sillerman's plans to build a billion dollar EDMpire. Early this morning Daft Punk changed their Facebook profile picture and cover photo to what is rumored to be their new album's artwork. The picture doesn’t say much besides confirming the album will be released via Columbia Records, which is owned by Sony Music Entertainment.
