The band, who were recently named "Best Garage Band" for 2011 by Seattle Weekly, released Sacrifice as a concept "double EP". The six songs on side A are reinterpreted on side B. While no further details have surfaced, the record will be issued on 'a' Records through Redeye Distribution. The latest track from The Brian Jonestown Massacre's Berlin recording sessions was posted today on Anton's YouTube channel. It is called Face Down On The Moon. It is accompanied by some Sacred Geometry visuals. Check it.
Anton Newcombe/Fjordson has been busy recording new BJM tracks, putting some trippy visuals together, and posting them on his YouTube channel. The new project is called (at least for now) WORK IN PROGRESS/BERLIN DE. A few days ago we shared The Revolution Will Not Be Digitised, today we have a new track and accompanying visuals for Doomdub/UFO Paycheck. He is also including Bible verses as captions. This one references Isaiah 24:18-20. You can look it up or head over to his YouTube page to check the verse.
Here's a nice little treat for your Monday, a new tune and video that just popped up on Anton's YouTube channel, from The Brian Jonestown Massacre. The only info we have on this track was that it was recorded yesterday in Berlin, and it comes with the curious caption, "Where the f**k is Kevin Shields?".
