This week is Discotexas which presents its first release of this 2012. We all know that everything that comes from the Portuguese label is a guarantee but this time they have excelled themselves. Yay, first Discotexas post of the year! Today Portugal's best label release their first EP of the year - Helsinki duo Jay Lamar & Jesse Oliver 's "Diamonda" EP. In my best of 2011 list I wrote about Hannelulauri that the Finns are great at mixing disco with progressive house, and gave a few examples. This Derezzed rework from a Finnish duo Bright Shades really got me banger. I wouldn't have thought I would be interested of any remixes/reworks/bootlegs of this Daft Punk 's track because the original is considered perfect.
