The Lab TV recently brought together two singer-songwriters from opposite sides of the globe, London's Laura Marling and Los Angeles' Eddie Berman , and squared them away inside a California recording studio to let them do their proverbial musical thing. Accompanied by little more than an acoustic guitar, the two performed their own rendition of Bruce Springsteen's "Dancing in the Dark"  effectively turning the 1984 powerhouse rock hit into a soft-spoken, soul-soother. As promised , Jay-Z performed alongside Bruce Springsteen at President Barack Obama's final campaign rally in Columbus, OH on Tuesday afternoon. With a giant American flag in the background, the Brooklyn-bred rapper kicked served up a set featuring "D.O.A. Bruce Springsteen has released a video for "Rocky Ground", the hip-hop-flavored second single from his new album Wrecking Ball . It packs prototypical Springsteen visuals, specifically a town which has seen better days. Check it out below. Wrecking Ball is out now via Columbia.

The Boss is back on the road in North America this coming August and September. Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will be performing in stadiums in eight North American cities including Wrigley Field in Chicago, MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey and the Rogers Centre in Toronto.
