Bruce Springsteen's new recession-special album Wrecking Ball is out tomorrow, and it mostly concerns America's widening gulf between rich and poor. Early last week we saw Bruce Spingsteen and the E Street Band take to the stage of Jimmy Fallon to put in two great performances of two tracks that feature on The Boss' new album which drops tomorrow! Yesterday, news broke that Bruce Springsteen has set a date to release his new LP Wrecking Ball , via a listing on iTunes. The 11 track effort is set for release on the 5th of March in the UK and a day later in the U.S. on the 6th March. On October 13 at 4pm, E Street Radio will be broadcasting the latest Springsteen Community Conference that I co-hosted with my good friend John Franck. Titled, "The Ties That Bind: Springsteen and the Next Generation," it's a great exploration of Springsteen's influence on a new generation of musicians. Our guests for this include Tom Morello (Rage Against The Machine), Pete Yorn and drummer Jay Weinberg. It's a killer show, with some great, informative and often hilarious anecdotes, much like the one below. If you're a Bruce fan, you won't want to miss this!

Because we saw Tom Morello a few weeks ago and he blew us away, and because we recently posted the awesome Rage Against The Machine version of this song ... and that other guy singing with Morello ain't too shabby either.

Anyone who has HBO has been subjected to the replay of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Concert ever since it originally aired on November 29th. I have tried to sit through this four hour monstrosity a couple of times now, and trust me, that ain’t no easy task!
