Unfortunately, our beloved hyperactive band Gobble Gobble is no more but they kindly gave birth to Born Gold . They just released Alabaster Bodyworlds as a teaser for all Ex-Gobble Gobble fans and the full album comes out September 20th. This track seems more calm but still has the heavily synth-ed exotic dance beats that we are all used to from GG. Montreal indie rockers, Winter Gloves, recently announced that they're going to be touring with New Zealand's The Naked and Famous this summer. The tour includes a show in Toronto on August 9th at Lee's Palace. Winter Gloves' latest release was a three-song EP entitled "Heart Out" released back in March. I've had " Dancing My Heart Out " on repeat for the past couple of months. I just can't seem to get enough of this one song! Vancouver's Mother Mother made a stop at Canteen's Bands Undone on December 11th. They were in Ottawa for a show opening up for Matthew Good.
