Captain Murphy aka Flying Lotus's twisted MC Doppleganger released his first official video for The Killing Joke off the Duality mixtape that dropped late last year. The video features a ghostly hooded figure with crazy hypno-eyes stalking a girl in the woods. The video was shot and created by Suns (Steve Cutler // Mark Corless) as a fan video and flylo liked it so much he made it the official version.

In his new video for "The Killing Joke", Captain Murphy / Flying Lotus reverts back to his enigmatic beginnings, to a time when his identity was entirely speculation. Immersed in a dark, creepy atmosphere and tone, the video focuses on a white-eyed hooded figure interspersed with random footage. Finally, something new and fresh that I had to share with you. Captain Murphy , the alter rap ego to Flying Lotus , released the official video for "Killing Joke." This is one of the standout tracks off his mixtape Duality , which you should download if you haven't yet. Now, even though Flying Lotus relieved this was him, he still keeps the mysterious look to the visual with the mask, hooded characters, fires, skeletons, and a dark atmosphere. Watch below. Fresh? When Flying Lotus was rolling out his Captain Murphy campaign, we saw some brilliant animation work from a then-unknown artist who turned out to be Adult Swim's Adam "lilfuchs" Fuchs. They brought the Captain Murphy character to another dimension and, thankfully, their work together wasn't done there. FlyLo and Fuchs recently collaborated on a new clip for Moog's Sub Phatty synthesizer that includes trippy visuals along with a brand-new track from the Los Angeles producer. Can you think of a better way of introducing a new synth to the world? I can't. [...]
